Newark-Wayne Community Hospital, a 120-bed hospital in Wayne County, offers services including cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopaedics and pulmonary care, as well as an innovative telemedicine program. The hospital has a renovated birthing center and emergency department. Newark-Wayne is a New York State-designated Stroke Center, a NICHE (Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders) Exemplar hospital and a recent recipient of the WHO Baby-Friendly designation. Rehabilitative and long-term care services are provided through DeMay Living Center, an attached facility.

The R.N. I maintains quality patient care through consistent standards of nursing practice in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. Utilizes the nursing process: assess, diagnosis, plan, implement and evaluate to execute appropriate individual patient care. The R.N. is instrumental in providing an exceptional experience for patient and family.
Provides high-quality, patient-centered, clinical care:
- Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
Required Licensure/Certification Skills:
- Registered Nurse license in New York State.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
