Abrazo Arrowhead Campus (located at 67th Avenue and AZ-Loop 101 in Glendale) is an award winning 217-bed healthcare facility offering high quality, compassionate care to the community since 1988. Abrazo Arrowhead Campus specializes in cardiovascular, orthopedic, surgical, wound care, hyperbaric oxygen therapy and obstetrical care, including a neonatal ICU.
Performs radiographic procedures to patients in accordance with departmental policy. Provides a variety of technical exams that require independent judgement to apply ionized radiation for radiologic diagnoses. Responsible for on-call procedures when indicated. Must be able to do surgery cases and pain management.
Qualifications: MINIMUM EDUCATION: Completion of JRCERT approved formal program in Radiologic Technology. PREFERRED EDUCATION: MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Minimum six-(6) months clinical experience. REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Current American Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and Certified Radiology Tech (CRT), CPR. REQUIRED COURSE(S) TRAINING: PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATION: SPECIAL SKILLS: Good verbal communication skills necessary to understand oral and written instructions stated in radiological and medical terms and to exchange information with patients and staff. SUPERVISES: Functional supervision will be exercised over students.
