This position is at M Health FairviewUniversity of Minnesota Medical Center (East Bank) and will be working with adult patients in the Interventional Radiology department. This position is for 64 hours per 2 weeks, 8 hour shifts, Day shift, weekend call only, and is benefit eligible. On call is required : 1 on call night per week and 1 weekend call (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) every other month.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.
Current MN RN License
Willing to obtain ACLS within three months of hire
Minimum of two years of current critical care: ED, ICU or PACU
Able to train to competency in the care of the adult patient, including the procedural sedation of adults.
Able to wear lead attire during radiologic procedures
