Job Summary
Provides individualized, culture-specific patient care by attending to the personal needs and comfort of patients, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Assists the professional or licensed nurse as delegated in tasks requiring less technical skills. Participates in shift and bedside report. Participates and supports regional, facility, department, and unit initiatives
CALL is required for this position
Strongly preferred experience in PACU/PREOP or ICU or ER .
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school.
License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
CPR. ACLS required upon orientation completion.
Preferred Qualifications: BSN. Prefer 1 year of acute care experience or Certification in specialty area of practice preferred.
Special Skills: Excellent customer service skills; basic computer skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact positively and effectively with patients, visitors and health care team members. Knowledge of patient rights, aseptic/sterile technique and infection control best practices.
