The TGH Brandon Healthplex is Tampa General Hospital’s first comprehensive outpatient medical center and serves the Brandon and South Hillsborough County area. This four-story, 130,000 square foot facility has a free-standing adult and pediatric emergency department, ambulatory surgery center, imaging and lab services, pharmacy, outpatient rehabilitation, physician offices and a helipad. The TGH Brandon Healthplex Surgery Center opened in April of 2017 as a multispecialty surgical center specializing in outpatient surgical procedures. The ASC offers six operating rooms, two procedural suites, 24 pre- and post-procedure bays, and a 13-bed post-anesthesia care unit. Specialty surgeries offered at the TGH Brandon Healthplex Ambulatory Surgery Center include, but are not limited to, urology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, general surgery, ophthalmology, pain management, podiatry, plastic surgery and oncology. Our Ambulatory Surgery Center was named to Newsweek's inaugural list of best Ambulatory Surgery Centers 2021.
