DescriptionSummary:Function in the Operating Room Associate (ORA) role in the Operating Room. The ORA works under the direct supervision of the perioperative RN circulator and physician to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures, ensuring that the operating room environment is safe and the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety. The ORA position is the foundation for case time effectiveness, environmental readiness and accuracy. Assist Team Leader and staff with direct and indirect care of patients within the Surgical Services Department.
