Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy Suite at Overlook Medical Center, to work varied hours every fourth Saturday. Unit hours are 7am - 6pm. Shifts are 7.5 hours.
Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served. Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.

Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
Demonstrates knowledge of the conditions/diagnoses, procedures and equipment encountered in the Endoscopy unit including Gastroenterology, Cardio and Pulmonary.
Exhibits knowledge of and consistently maintains SGNA standards of practice.
Assesses patient reaction and understanding of procedure/instructions- actively including the patient and family members in teaching.
Valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license
Critical Care, Endoscopy, or PACU experience preferred
