Facility Profile

Surgery Center at TGH Brandon Healthplex is a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center (ASC) that is part of the Tampa General Hospital Health System. Our state-of-the-art facility offers the highest quality in patient care and was named to Newsweek’s Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers for 2021. The ASC offers six fully equipped and integrated operating rooms, two endoscopy suites and 37 beds for pre-operative and post-operative care. It is conveniently located by the Selmon Expressway, Interstate 75 and South Falkenburg Road.

Job Summary

Under general supervision, following established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines, delivers nursing care to patients. Plans and implements nursing care; documents nursing assessments; identifies and reports situations requiring further intervention; formulates and communicates goal-directed plan of care; assures patient rights. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Iminary Healthcare Staffing and principles of quality improvement.

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
BSN or ASN with greater than one year experience required.
1 year of Operating Room experience
Surgery center experience preferred.
BLS/ACLS/PALS required.

*This position does not work holidays and weekends.
