Christiana Hospital is currently recruiting for a Registered nurse to be trained to work in the PACU. This role requires an Orientation, that will be a 24-week. PACU Fellowship program that includes rotations in critical care units and critical care courses that will culminate in adequate preparation to function independently as a PACU RN. **This program Fellowship is only open to experienced nurses, who wish to work in the PACU. No new grads will be considered. **
Experienced Registered Nurse Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Fellowship - anticipated start date of March 19, 2023.
Shift Requirements: Rotations of shifts - Day, Evening & Midnight Shift hours as required. Weekends, Holidays and On Call shifts - per the department guidelines.
Commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire can be considered with relevant experience.
Qualified applicants should have at least two years' experience of Med/Surg or Stepdown units.
Commitment to be flexible to large number of patients in the day due to level one trauma hospital.
ACLS preferred - required to attain within in 6 months.
PALS preferred - required to attain within in 6 months.
