You will promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act, and demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values. Day to Day duties: * Circulate and/or Scrub on all cases.* Mainly Ortho, Total joint replacements (Hips, Shoulder, Knees Ankles etc.), Ortho Spine and Sports Medicine. * Giving breaks and/or providing additional supplies and sterile instruments as needed during operations. * Assisting with Room turnover and restocking for next days cases.* Acting as an advocate for patient before, during and after surgery.OR Suites-8 OR Suites, 11 Pre-Op Beds, 10 PACU Bays, 48 Inpatient BedsApprox.200-250+ cases per month Schedule: Full Time- 36hrs/week-0630-1900 Schedule is made every 6 weeks by the manager *No surgeries on holidays or weekends.Like a Surgery center. No weekends no nights. No Call!!* No Call!! 'Late Stay' is required and scheduled in advance -Sign up for first second or 3rd room late stay. We only do elective cases which means we just operate Monday through Friday, are closed on weekends and major holidays, and do not have on call.
