This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. The new CLC will support a skilled nursing and dementia unit with a total of 33-beds. The CLC will provide services to eligible Veterans needing skilled healthcare, rehabilitation, or dementia/ neurocognitive support requiring an extended short-term stay, ranging from 30 to 90+ days of care. We are looking for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) applicants that would like the opportunity to grow, develop and learn with us. We currently have full-time and part-time opportunities; with various shift availability in both the Skilled Care Unit and the Dementia Unit. This announcement will be used to recruit for both units. The CLC is focusing on a team approach to produce specialized nursing staff, to be knowledgeable in a variety of areas from standard nursing care, wound care, rehab, pain management, restorative care, hospice care, palliative care, and extended care services.
