St. Rose Dominican Hospitals
St. Rose Dominican Hospitals are part of Dignity Health, the nation's fifth largest non-for-profit health system. Our healing philosophy focused on Humankindness serves all people in need including our patients, visitors, guests, staff, physicians and the communities we serve. The Dignity Health system in southern Nevada has the only not for profit, faith-based network with three hospital campuses - St. Rose De Lima, St. Rose Siena and St. Rose San Martin. These mission-driven Hospitals are guided by our vision and core values providing compassionate, high quality, patient-centered care to address each patients physical, mental and spiritual needs.
St. Rose De Lima Hospital - Situated in the heart of "old" Henderson, our original hospital opened in 1947, guided by the care and commitment of the Dominican Sisters of Adrian, Michigan. Today, nearly 75 years later, the Rose de Lima Campus remains a vital part of the Henderson community and is known for its long tradition of high-tech, high-touch care. Rose De Lima still serves the mission of the Adrian Dominican sisters by offering emergency services, diagnostic imaging, and limited inpatient care services, and by providing care for all patients regardless of their ability to pay.
Siena Hospital - Opened in 2000 to enhance and expand the services provided by the Rose De Lima Campus; this acute-care hospital houses 356 beds and provides unparalleled health care services in a beautiful environment - this hospital was named the eighth most beautiful hospital in the world by Healthcare Business & Technology. The recent addition of a nearly 220,000 square foot tower offers some of the most advanced medical amenities available today. The tower complements the tertiary services already available as well as the community based services of a Level III NICU, Level III trauma center, accredited chest pain center and Joint Commission accredited Primary Stroke Center.
San Martin Hospital - The third acute-care facility in the Dignity Health - St. Rose Dominican Hospital system opened its doors to the public in late 2006 to serve the needs of the growing southwest Las Vegas community. The more than 346,000 square foot hospital offers nearly 150 private patient rooms and offers a large variety of health services including a cardiac cath and electrophysiology lab, open heart surgery program, Da Vinci Surgical System, Level II NICU and Joint Commission accredited Primary Stroke Center. In, 2010, San Martin was named the 6th most beautiful hospital campus in the country.
