Job Summary
We are seeking an Endoscopy Registered Nurse to join our nursing team at University of Maryland Medical Center Midtown Campus.
The perioperative wing has 2 endoscopy suites, 7-operating rooms, and 1 cystoscopy room. We perform 90% outpatient surgeries utilizing the services of the University of Maryland Physicians and some community physicians. We average 500 cases per month.
Our Patient Population
We care for Adults/geriatric patients who may have one of the following surgery types: ENT, OMF, GYN, Ortho-Total Joint Replacements, General Surgery, Vascular Surgeries, Sports Medicine, Podiatry.

Located in Baltimore's cultural center near the historic Mount Vernon neighborhood, UMMC Midtown Campus is a 180-bed, community teaching hospital with a focus on helping people manage chronic diseases, including diabetes, hypertension, pulmonary conditions, and infectious diseases.
Qualifications
Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland, or eligible to practice due to Compact state agreements outlined through the MD Board of Nursing, is required.; BSN preferred. Up-to-date status on all mandatory training and classes.
One year nursing experience. Solid knowledge and clinical skills.
Current CPR certification required.
Maintenance of 10 contact hours of education every two years.
