The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist is an advanced practice nurse who utilizes specialized clinical nursing skills and is prepared to administer anesthesia care at the Medical Center. The practice of nurse anesthesia is a recognized specialty within the profession of nursing. CRNAs are responsible and accountable for their practice.
