DescriptionSummary:Under the general supervision of the Charge Nurse and/or the OR Manager, the RN staff nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care by the use of the nursing process. The RN is responsible for the plan of care for the surgical patient.Our SPH surgery department consists of 9 operating rooms, 10 post anesthesia recovery bays, 4 pre-op holding bays, and 12 pre/post op day surgery patient rooms.
