This high?acuity, fast?paced unit provides exceptional care to patients throughout the entire transplant journey, from pre?transplant evaluation through post?transplant recovery and readmissions.
Our 37?bed unit specializes in caring for patients with complex diagnoses, including:
Liver Transplant (Pre & Post)
Kidney Transplant

What You?ll Do | RN Role Overview
As a Clinical Nurse (RN) at Duke University Health System, you will provide professional nursing care aligned with medical and nursing plans of care, Duke policies, and North Carolina Board of Nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, provide, and document patient care using the nursing process
Deliver care in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
Delegate and supervise licensed and unlicensed care team members
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare partners to optimize outcomes
Maintain a safe, organized environment of care
Prioritize workflow and utilize available resources effectively
Participate in professional development and ongoing competency validation
Support the education and development of peers and learners

What You?ll Need | Qualifications
Education
Graduation from one of the following:
Bachelor?s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher OR
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) OR
Nursing Diploma Program
BSN Requirement: RNs without a BSN must enroll in a BSN program within two years of hire and complete the degree within seven years of their start date.
Licensure & Certification
Current North Carolina RN license
BLS Certification (required)
