DescriptionSummary:The Surgery Technician, under the guidance of the Perioperative Registered Nurse, is responsible for the care and safety of the patient who comes under his/her care. Included within this assignment is the responsibility for insuring effective communication with the other O.R. team members, the patient, physician/surgeons, anesthesia providers and other ancillary departments. The Surgery Technician is trained in the delivery of age appropriate care by hospital policy.Willing to accept assigned call as required.Requirements:High School diploma or equivalent; graduate of Surgical Technologist Program required.Surgical Technician training in a hospital environment.
