DescriptionThe Bone Marrow Transplant and Immunodeficiency Unit is a 36-bed dedicated to providing intensive, focused care to BMT and immunodeficiency patients in a dedicated setting. The BMT unit encompasses a highly complex, specialized, intensive care environment. Patients range from infancy to young adult who have underlying oncologic, immunologic, marrow failure or metabolic disorder requiring BMT.Nursing practice is essential to providing high quality care to a vulnerable population.
