Overview
Overlook Medical Center, a member of Atlantic Health System,is currently recruiting for a full-time Pre Op & Recovery - Registered Nurse. This is a day shift position, working varied 3-12 hour shifts. Unit hours are Monday - Friday 6:00am - 8:30pm. No call. Occassional Saturdays required.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served.
Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.
Qualifications
Education:
BSN preferred
Required Certification:
BLS required
ACLS required
PALS upon hire
CPAN preferred
Required License:
Valid New Jersey Nursing License Required
Relevant Experience:
Acute care hospital, med/surg, critical care, ED, telemetry experience preferred.
